SafeNest Cleaning Terms & Conditions

1. General Agreement

By booking a service with SafeNest Cleaning, the client agrees to all Terms & Conditions listed on this page.
By signing the SafeNest Cleaning Service Agreement (contract), the client acknowledges and agrees to all Terms & Conditions listed on the SafeNest Cleaning website.
These Terms & Conditions apply to all current and future services booked with SafeNest Cleaning.

2. Misleading Booking

Clients must provide accurate information regarding the condition of the property and the services required.
If information provided is incomplete, misleading, or inaccurate, SafeNest Cleaning reserves the right to limit the service to what can reasonably be completed within the booked timeframe.

3. Safety Disclosure Requirement

Before commencement of services, all clients must complete a Safety & Environment Disclosure Form.
This form includes questions regarding:

• Criminal history
• Pets
• Hazards
• Access requirements
• Environmental risks
• Any other information required to ensure staff safety

Failure to disclose relevant information may result in service refusal, cancellation fees, or termination of ongoing services.

4. Quotes & Estimates

All quotes provided are estimates only.
Quotes may change if the condition of the home requires additional time or labour.
If extra time is required, the client will be contacted before commencing any additional work.

5. Extreme Build‑Up Clause

If extreme build‑up is present and was not disclosed at the time of booking, the service will be charged at the accurate rate required to complete the work.
This will always be discussed with the client before commencing.

6. Walkthrough Policy

• Residential cleans: SafeNest Cleaning does not perform walkthroughs for residential properties. Clients must provide accurate and complete information prior to booking.
• Commercial cleans: Walkthroughs are required for commercial properties to ensure accurate quoting and service planning.

7. Scope of Work

SafeNest Cleaning provides standard cleaning services as outlined in our Scope of Work document.
Any tasks outside the standard scope are considered add‑on services and must be booked in advance.

8. Tasks Cleaners Will Not Perform

For safety and liability reasons, staff will not:

• Move heavy furniture or be held responsible for moving furniture
• Use ladders higher than 3 steps
• Clean animal faeces, urine, or any bodily fluids
• Handle hazardous waste
• Work in unsafe or contaminated environments

9. Add‑On Services

Add‑ons include (but are not limited to):

• Windows
• Skirting boards
• Ovens
• Folding laundry
• Cleaning dryer filters
• Cleaning washing machine filters
• Deep cleaning appliances
• Wall spot cleaning
• Inside cupboards
• Any other detailed or time‑intensive tasks


Add‑ons must be booked in advance.
If requested on the day, they will be scheduled for the next available clean.

10. Weekend & Public Holiday Surcharges

• Saturday: +50%
• Sunday: +100%
• Public Holidays: +100%

11. Price Adjustments

SafeNest Cleaning reserves the right to adjust pricing due to operational cost increases.
Clients will be notified at least 3 weeks prior to any changes.

12. Invoicing

An invoice will be issued within 24 hours of service completion.
Payment is due by close of business on the due date stated on the invoice.

13. Payment Terms

(Does not apply to NDIS or Vendor Channels)

• Payment due by close of business same day
• Card payments only - no cash, no goods
• Late fees: $12 per 24‑hour cycle until payment is received
• Services may be paused if invoices remain unpaid

14. Cancellation Policy

• More than 48 hours notice → no fee
• Less than 48 hours notice → 50% of service price
• Same‑day cancellation or no‑show → 100% of service pric

15. Illness Policy

To protect clients and staff:

• If a client is ill, the service must be cancelled
• If staff arrive and the client is visibly ill, they may refuse entry
• In this case, the service is deemed cancelled and 50% of the service price is payable
• Staff who are ill will not attend cleans and services will be rescheduled

16. Pet Policy & Excessive Pet Hair

If excessive pet hair is present, an additional fee may apply.
This will be discussed with the client before work begins.

17. Equipment & Supplies

All equipment and supplies are provided by SafeNest Cleaning.

18. Liability & Insurance

• All staff are police‑cleared and insured under SafeNest Cleaning
• SafeNest Cleaning is not liable for pre‑existing damage, wear and tear, or items that are unstable, unsecured, or fragile
• Any damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of the service

19. Photos in the Home

For quality assurance, staff may take before‑and‑after photos of the areas cleaned.
Private items are avoided where possible.
Photos are only shared internally with management and staff.
If SafeNest requests permission to use photos for marketing, clients may decline.

20. Lockout Fee

If staff arrive and cannot access the property (no key, no access code, no one home), a 50% lockout fee applies.

21. Accessibility Requirements

Clients must ensure:

• Direct access to the property
• Working water and electricity
• Safe, unobstructed areas for cleaning

22. Service Refusal Clause

SafeNest Cleaning reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if:

• The environment is unsafe
• There is excessive clutter preventing cleaning
• There is biohazard present
• The client is aggressive, threatening, or inappropriate
• The client repeatedly cancels or fails to pay
• Access instructions are incorrect or unsafe

23. Key & Access Code Handling

• Keys are stored securely in our office
• Access codes are stored confidentially in client records
• Clients must provide accurate access instructions


24. Confidentiality

SafeNest Cleaning respects client privacy.
All personal information, access details, and photos are kept confidential and used only for operational purposes.
Information is not shared with third parties unless required by law.


25. Service Termination

Either party may terminate ongoing services with 7 days notice.
Immediate termination may occur for:

• Non‑payment
• Unsafe conditions
• Harassment or inappropriate behaviour
• Repeated cancellations
• Breach of Terms & Conditions
